Terms of use

Terms that apply when you use Scaff.

Last updated: March 11, 2026

Use of the service

Scaff is a free tool that generates MCP server scaffolds from OpenAPI specs. By using the website and generator you agree to use them only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn’t harm the service or others. You’re responsible for how you use any generated code and for complying with any licenses that apply to it.

No warranty

Scaff is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee that the service or generated code will be error-free, secure, or fit for any particular use. You use the generator and any output at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Scaff or any generated code. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use Scaff (which is zero for the free service).

Your content

When you upload or paste an OpenAPI spec, we use it only to generate the scaffold you request. We don’t claim ownership of your specs or the code you generate. You’re responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any specs you provide.

Changes to the service and terms

We may change or discontinue features, or update these terms, at any time. We’ll indicate updates by changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Scaff after changes means you accept the updated terms.
